Super friendly mom & pop diner. Really good prices, great food. Plates were portioned well enough that it seemed just right, unlike most places that give you huge order sizes. Was super helpful when I asked where the closest gas station was, as well!
Awesome ! The owners were so nice! They were very accommodating for my food allergy and the food was homemade and absolutely delicious! This place is a definite stop !
Excellent brisket sandwich terrific baked beans and very good coleslaw added up to a fine lunch ... perhaps slightly overpriced, but I would do it again.
Nice, quaint little place with very friendly atmosphere. Smoked brisket is cooked on site with a smokey aroma everywhere. My friend and I both got the brisket sandwich (a tad rubbery in texture) with coleslaw, minus the bbq beans for which they were out of. My friend got a can of soda (no beer served here), and I got a coffee. The total bill for 2 brisket sandwiches on buns with coleslaw and 2 drinks was just over $30, an extremely over-inflated price for what it was. No hamburgers or cheeseburgers, no fries, just coleslaw & potato chips. Fast & friendly service, though, and that's worth a star.
We stopped in during the week and were the only ones there but were treated like royalty. We had such a pleasant conversation with Wayne and Jordi (sp?), the owners, and it made the meal that much more special. Jordi was playing Chopin on the piano when we got there and it was beautiful. A local regular name Jeff came in and we had a very pleasant conversation with him which added to the great atmosphere. The chili was like nothing we had ever had and the Rueben was delicious. A great experience we would recommend for anyone!!
